 | Within the arts curriculum, teachers inspire individual creativity by nurturing and exploring the artist and passion in each student. Students experience integrated hands-on technique while learning about diverse cultures and customs, the elements of design, an introduction to art history, and the many disciplines of the arts. Courses may include, but are not limited to the following: Photography, studio glass, studio jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, woodshop, cabinetry, drawing, painting, and portfolio development. Students who select the visual/performing arts college preparatory track, will have increased individual studio time in which to concentrate on portfolio presentation. The arts program inspires finished artwork that portrays each student’s personality. | | |
