Village Academy has a rolling admissions process. Students may apply at any time during the year, as applications are considered based on space availability. The application process involves the following: • Attending an Open House Information Meeting and Tour. Out of town applicants who are unable to attend such a meeting will complete the initial meeting process via phone interview. • Scheduling student for a classroom visitation for evaluation. Evaluation will include completion of entrance tests, interaction with students, and observation by faculty and staff. • Providing teacher recommendations from student’s present math and English teachers (grades K-12) and classroom teachers (preschool). • Completing records release form for current school. • Providing updated transcript of records or current report card (depending on grade level) for students grades K-12. • Remitting nonrefundable application fee of $75.00 payable to Village Academy Schools. • Completing and submitting all required forms, and providing a copy of student's birth certificate and immunization/medical form.
When the application process is completed, the student’s folder is submitted to the admission committee for consideration. Upon acceptance, a formal letter offering enrollment is sent to the parent(s)/guardian(s). |
